Changes come- but God never changes!

Many Years has gone by, and many children have experienced God’s love and care in Friends House.

It’s been a privilege and joy to see, how  “Dandelion children  grow and become as  beautiful  Rosees”. They have gained self-confidence, security, and know that they are valuable, they are needed. We rejoice  greatly over  this. Then came a important change! The part of  of Friends’ House, where children live, now have received the status, as a Family home, where  they live with their new family, Orthodox priest Sergei, with wife Natasha and children Sergei, Anja and Sofie. This is a positive and natural development, they are now fully protected legally, the family has a legal status, and the children need not to worry anymore of being  to be taken from there to any institution.

We still have contact with them, but the main responsibility is given over to the new family.

This change was not so easy for any of us. The children that we followed from 2003, brought up in the Lord, had prayer with which encouraged us and the kids.

To give away our precious treasure our plant, was not easy. It was a time with hurts  inside for all of us.

But then you stop and think: Are we selfish?  It can easily become a thought built on emotions. We have done our part, and now we give over beautiful roses!

We read what the Bile says in 1 st Corinthians, 3: 5

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10  In korintiebrevet 3:6 – 9 says. I have planted, Apollos has watered, but God gave the growth. So now is not the one who plants nor the one who waters, but God who gives the growth. But who plants and he who waters are one, and each shall receive his reward for their work. For we are God’s helpers, you are God’s fields, God’s building.

Changes will come sooner or later, we do not know all of God’s plan and would not be able to understand the whole picture.

God’s call to us is not over.

The children in the family home are fine, so now we reach out to poor families in the villages.

As Christ’s Ambassadors, with a ministry of reconciliation, it is our duty to submit a hope to the children and adults in need.
